About Me...

I am a bicycle commuter and an avid cyclist. I have always preferred to ride my bike, even when I lived in smaller cities, although I do own a car. My bicycle not only gets me from point A to point B faster but it provides an excellent work out.

My first Critical Mass ride was almost a decade ago in Portland, Oregon and since then I have ridden in Seattle, San Francisco, Olympia, and New York.

When I'm not riding my bicycle I'm usually coding various websites. I created this website after receiving two tickets on a single ride (August, 2006). Both of these tickets were thrown out in court and the outright misuse of resources and the waste of police time and money was something I couldn't let go without fighting back and voicing my opinion.

Collectively we can demonstrate the misuse of police resources and help to stop these attacks on our civil liberties and our freedom of assembly. In all the years that I have ridden in Critical Mass I have seen some odd police behavior but nothing that compares to the sillyness of the NYPD.
